Consists of 3 letters and 2 cards by Williams from Monroe, N.C., Havana, Cuba, Peking, China, and Baldwin, Mich. The Weber letters are retained carbon copies, except one, dated May 4, 1963, addressed to Williams in Havana, and returned unopened on Feb. 5, 1975. The correspondence concerns the receipt by the Labadie Collection of The Crusader, Weber's support of Williams's work in the civil rights struggle, suggestions of magazines for publishing Williams's poetry, and friendly remarks.
